Posted
Pauline Hoskins left this world, bound for the glory land, to spend eternity with her Savior at 12:10 p.m. Sept. 3, 2018, at the age of 90.

Pauline was born July 9, 1928, to Leroy and Bessie Lozier Anderson.

She spent her entire life in Warsaw. She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1946 and Manchester College in 1950. She married Woodrow “Speck” Hoskins on Aug. 7, 1949, and he preceded her in death on March 15, 1998.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, Richard Anderson; and her cousin who was raised as her sister, Wilma Grove.

She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Warsaw. Her parents took her to church when she was 2 weeks old and her life was one of serving the Lord. She taught various classes and activities at First Baptist Church and taught preschool Sunday school for 46 years. Her love of music led her to direct the choir at First Baptist for 24 years.

She is survived by her son, Timothy (Sue Ann) Hoskins, Greenfield; her daughters, Gail (Philip) Wonderly, Warsaw, and Sue (Mark) Weaver, Warsaw; eight grandchildren: John, Adam (Jennifer), Andrew (Mindy) and Ian (Beth) Hoskins; Paul (Valerie) Wonderly; Seth and Andrew Weaver; and Bronwen Weaver-Meyer; and 17 great-grandchildren: Adan, Kade, Marisa, Anderson Joy, Gavin, Greyson, Quinn, Lindsey, Ashleigh, Mackenzie, Octavia, Miranda, Cadence, Ava, Matthew, Jessa and Tyler. In addition, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She loved her family. When they hurt, she hurt. When they grieved, she grieved. When they were discouraged, she encourged.

Visitation will be at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 8.

The funeral service will follow in the funeral chapel at noon, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Officiating the service will be Ethel Anderson, her sister-in-law; Steve Rahn, First Baptist Church; and Jeff Pfeifer, Warsaw Community Church.
