SYRACUSE - Pauline Eary, 76, Cromwell, died at 1:55 p.m. Dec. 5, 2008, at Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse, of natural causes.
She was born Feb. 16, 1932, in West Virginia, to Doc and Billy Thornhill Helmick. She married Ronald Eary, who preceded her in death.
She moved back to Indiana from West Virginia in 2003. She was employed at Dana Corp, Syracuse, and was a cook in West Virginia. She was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (and spouse Terry) Senter, Cromwell, and Ruth (and spouse Tommy) Ortez, Texas; a son, Ronald "Larry" (and spouse Sylvia) Eary, Cromwell; two sisters, Loretta Judy and Eleanor Hudnall, both of West Virginia; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, with Pastor Sara Tuttle officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
