Paul John Kindig, 86, rural Akron, died at 8:45 a.m. Feb. 17, 2024, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 8, 1937, in Akron, to Byron and Mildred Steininger Kindig.
Paul entered into the United States Army, serving from September 1960 to August 1962. He then married Rosemary Perkins on Dec. 14, 1963, in Lebanon.
Paul’s funeral service will be Wednesday, Feb. 21 at the Akron Church of God. Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon with the service following officiated by Pastor Mandy Nellans. A committal service and burial will be in the Athens Mount Hope (Hoover) Cemetery.
