NAPPANEE – Paul E. Keys, 69, of Nappanee, died at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 23, 2012, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. He was born Feb. 5, 1943, in Muncie, to Paul J. and Betty Davis Keys. On March 31, 1964, in Albuquerque, N.M., he married Geraldine R. Dunn, who died June 3, 2002. He retired from Friendship Homes, where he had worked for 19 years. He was a member of Nappanee American Legion and the National Rifle Association. Surviving are four daughters: Paula Nolan, Janei Pickens and Antoinette Keys, all of Nappanee, and Ronda (and spouse Eddie) Carter, Plymouth; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four sisters. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery with military graveside services. Calling is from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
