Paul E. Easterday, 56, Warsaw, passed away at 9:38 a.m. Feb. 16, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born Feb. 27, 1957, in Rochester, to Walter L. and Helen Sweany Easterday.
A Warsaw resident, he was formerly of Rochester and Florida. He was a 1975 graduate of Rochester High School. He was an avid Cubs fan, country and ’70s music fan and supporter of the Baker Youth Club of Warsaw. He enjoyed spending summers at Pike Lake Campground and the evening bonfires. He attended all of his nieces’ and nephews’ basketball, baseball, football, girls softball and track events. Also, he loved to play wiffle ball, kickball and basketball pick-up games with his family. He was a kind, gentle and caring soul who will be greatly missed by his entire family.
Surviving are his father, Walter L. Easterday, Warsaw; a sister, Linda (and spouse Dave) Furnivall; two nephews, Troy (and spouse Kim) Furnivall and Tracy (and spouse Amy) Furnivall, all of Warsaw; three great-nieces; three great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Ennichment is in St. Anne’s Episcopal Church Columbarium conducted by Pastor Corinne Hodges.
Calling is one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.
