A Patriot Day ceremony will be held Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the 9-11 Memorial in front of the Zimmer Biomet Center Lake Pavilion in Warsaw.
All Kosciusko County area first responders in fire, EMS and law enforcement are invited to attend to recognize the 24-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks, according to provided information.
The Kosciusko County Historical Museum will have Sept. 11, 2001, displays set up during the ceremony.
Mike Cox, Kosciusko 9-11 Committee chairman, will welcome attendees and speak on Sept. 11. The Pledge of Allegiance will be done by Boy Scout Troup 715. “God Bless America” will be sung by Bryce Lippe. Russ Bauer will provide thoughts on Sept. 11.
Layne Sumner will read of the Line of Duty deaths names in Kosciusko County.
Johnny Butler will talk about Honor and Remember. Ringing of the bell will be by firefighter J.W. Anderson.
