GOSHEN — Patricia R. Dean, 83, Goshen, died at 8:13 p.m. Dec. 21, 2016, at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born April 12, 1933, in Syracuse, to Ellis Eugene and Letha Mae Baugher Koher. She married Robert C. Dean on June 17, 1951, and he died June 3, 2008.
She was a 1951 graduate of North Webster High School and a member of Cornerstone Church. She worked at Excel, Elkhart, for 18 years. She also worked at John Wongs, Warsaw, and at J.C. Penney, Elkhart, as a sales associate.
Surviving are five sons: Charles E. (spouse Donna) Dean, Pennsylvania; John W. (spouse Sun) Dean, Goshen; Dwight D. (spouse Kathy) Dean, Syracuse; Gary A. (spouse Rita) Dean, Goshen; and Jerry L. (spouse Drenna) Dean, Hawaii; a brother, Martin M. Koher, North Webster; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Preceding her were her parents; husband, Robert; grandson, William Jeremy Dean; brother, Kenneth L. Koher; and a sister, Shirley Wong.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, with the service following at 1 p.m. at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Pastor Will Schieler will officiate.
Burial will follow at McClintic Cemetery, Syracuse.
