SYRACUSE – Patricia Lynn “Pat” Burns, 68, of Syracuse, passed away at 7:35 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, at Avalon Village Nursing Home in Ligonier.
She was born April 4, 1952, in Fayette, Ky., to Richard Dale and Velma Esther Boyer Walker.
She graduated from Elkhart High School and lived most of her life in the North Webster/Syracuse area. She was married on Dec. 29, 2000, in Syracuse, to Lenny W. Burns, who survives. She was formerly employed at Wawasee Community School Corporation as a bus driver for 20-plus years.
She is survived by her husband, Lenny Burns, of Syracuse; sister, Wilma Wolford, of Elkhart; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw.
