LAKEVILLE – Patricia J. Grable, 82, South Bend, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 13, 2016, at Trailpoint Village, South Bend. She was born Jan. 4, 1934, in South Bend, to Dale and Juanita Smith Boring. She was a lifelong area resident, growing up in Lakeville and living in Warsaw. She worked at Maple Leaf Farms, and was the owner of the “Doll Hospital” where she restored vintage dolls. She loved gardening and flowers and enjoyed ceramics. She also played the saxophone in her husband's band. Surviving are two daughters, Debra Sparks, Warsaw, and Sherry Grable, Lakeville; three grandchildren, Sarah L. (and spouse Robert) Wiseman, Mandy Geise and Brad Miller; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Sparks; and a brother, Smith Boring. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville. Graveside services and burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery.
