Patricia Gallmeier, 69, Syracuse, passed away Nov. 5, 2015, at the IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1946, in Warsaw, to Robert and Betty Longfield Denny. On Aug. 30, 1969, she married Danny Gallmeier, who survives in Syracuse. She grew up in Warsaw and was a 1964 graduate of Warsaw High School. She retired from the Wawasee Community School Corporation in 2013 after 26 years of service. She was also a bookkeeper for Stuckman Sanitation Services. She was a member of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel. Surviving are two daughters, Amy (and spouse Travis) Ball, Syracuse, and Cynthia (and spouse Christopher) Hochstetler, Howe; a son, Danny (and spouse Shadow) Gallmeier Jr., Churubusco; five grandchildren; her mother, Betty Denny, Warsaw; and three sisters: Diana Egolf, Roberta (and spouse Bruce) Bibler and Karen (and spouse John) Schultz, all of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by a sister, her father, a granddaughter and two nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel, with Pastors Harlan Steffen and Brad Cox officiating. Burial will take place at the McClintic cemetery.
