SYRACUSE – Patricia G. “Pat” Stewart, 76, of Syracuse, passed away at 2:52 p.m. Sept. 24, 2016, at I.U. Goshen Hospital. 
She was born on March 6, 1940, in Indianapolis, to Elmer and Louise Gaskins Gebhardt. On Jan. 1, 1960, in Indianapolis, she married Donald E. “Don” Stewart, who survives. 
She graduated in 1958 from Thomas Carr Howe High School in Indianapolis and attended Indiana University in Bloomington. She was a homemaker and retired from Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services in Indianapolis after several years of service. She formerly worked at 5th Army Headquarters at Fort Harrison in Indianapolis. 
She was a lifetime Indianapolis area resident until she moved to Syracuse 12 years ago.
She was a member of Wawasee Community Bible Church, Milford, and formerly attended Horizon Christian Fellowship, Indianapolis. She was an active volunteer for the Wheeler Mission Ministry, Indianapolis, and World Missionary Press, New Paris.
She is survived by her husband, Don Stewart, Syracuse; a daughter, Kathy (and spouse Norm) Davis, Southport, N.C.; a son, Dr. Brian Keith (and spouse Bonnie) Stewart, Australia; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Mary Katsaropoulos, Syracuse. 
She was preceded by her parents and a sister, Carol Baldwin. 
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Pastor Jack Barthel, former minister of Wawasee Community Church, will officiate. 
A committal service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Crown Hill Cemetery Chapel, 700 38th St., Indianapolis, with Pastor Douglas Barnes officiating. 
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
