NORTH MANCHESTER - Patricia G. Kirk, 68, of North Manchester, died at 5:02 p.m. July 5, 2009, in her residence.
She was born Oct. 12, 1940, in Logan County, W.Va., to John F. and Zanna Bragg Gillum. On Oct. 8, 1969, she married Ron L. Kirk, who survives.
She was a graduate of Matewan (W.Va.) High School and a homemaker. She was a North Manchester resident for the past 13 years, formerly of Lincoln Park, Mich.
Also surviving are three daughters: Angelia Weisenstein, Wabash; Rhonda Chalfunt, Wayne, Mich.; and Mary Anne Kirk, North Manchester; three brothers: Jack Gillum, New Market, Tenn.; Johnny Gillum, Wabash; and Jimmy Gillum, Rutledge, Tenn.; two sisters, Glenda Stone and Sena Setser, both of North Manchester; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman and the Rev. Johnny Gillum officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
