NORTH WEBSTER – Patricia E. “Pat” Reiff, 86, of Warsaw, died at 6:22 a.m. Jan. 20, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born June 4, 1926, in Columbia City, to Rolland Victor and Hazlette A. Brubaker Phend. On June 17, 1945, in Larwill, she married Robert G. “Bob” Reiff, who died Feb. 17, 2000. She was a lifetime Whitley/Kosciusko County area resident and graduated from Larwill High School in 1944. She was a homemaker, a former custodian at North Webster School and formerly worked at Mid Lakes Laundry, North Webster, for many years. She was a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, Pierceton, where she formerly served as chairman of the Church Outreach Committee and attended the Senior Citizens Group, Pierceton. She and her husband purchased the original traveling “W” Football Trophy for Wawasee and Warsaw. Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn Brower, Parker, Colo.; three sons: Tom (and spouse Terry) Reiff, Leesburg; Mark (and spouse Peggy) Reiff, Zionsville; and Ralph (and spouse Brenda) Reiff, Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren ; a sister, Shirley Webber, Rockville, Md.; and a brother, William H. “Bill” (and spouse Connie) Phend, Fort Wayne. She also was preceded in death by two sisters. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, Warsaw, with the Rev. Holly White officiating. Private burial will be in North Webster Cemetery.
