Patricia Ann Thomas, 77, passed away at 4:15 a.m. on Sunday,?Dec. 20, 2020, at Hospice of Miami County, Troy, Ohio, from complications of pneumonia and COVID-19.

Pat was born Feb. 22, 1943, in Muncie to the late Harold Bodkin and Doris Allen, of Aberdeen, N.C.

In her mid-teens, Pat moved to the Barbee Lake area to live with her late grandparents. Pat was a life member of American Legion Auxiliary #253, North Webster, and a life member of VFW #1126, Warsaw.

Pat is survived by her mother, Doris Balser, Aberdeen, N.C.; her three children: Steven (Heather) Caudill, Troy, Ohio; Robin Cole and Robert Cole, Warsaw; four sisters: Linda Bodkin, California; Catherine Kelly, Fayetteville, N.C.; Cheryl Martin, Aberdeen, N.C.; Melody Cummings, Apex, N.C.; and one brother, Darren Balser, Fayetteville, N.C.; six grandchildren:?Jerry Burnett, Merced, Calif.; Ashley Cummins and Amanda Ponka, Warsaw; Kali Miller, Haque, Chicago; Meagan Caudill and Steven Caudill, Troy, Ohio; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her father, Harold Bodkin; her late husband, Bill Thomas; and her brother, Jack Bodkin.

A gravesite service is scheduled for Saturday, March 20 at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is entrusted with arrangements for the family.
