PALOMA, Ill. – Patricia A. Walton, 72, of Paloma, died at 12:45 p.m. Dec. 8, 2012, in Blessing Hospital, Quincy. She was born Jan. 23, 1940, in Quincy, to Lewis R. and Arlene N Ault Berry. On June 7, 1957, in New London, Mo., she married Ron Walton, who survives. She was a former worthy matron of the Liberty Eastern Star. She served as a room mother for PTA, was a Cub Scout den mother and served as a Brownie leader. She was a member of Coatsburg/Paloma Lioness Club. Also surviving are a son, R. Scott (and spouse Linda) Walton, Quincy; two daughters, Joni L. (and spouse Dale) Truex, Atwood, and Kelly M. (and spouse Randall) Lummer, Camp Point; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her mother, Arlene Berry, Quincy; and a brother, Michael (and spouse Barbara) Berry, Williamstown, Mo. She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters. Cremation rites will be accorded and private services will be at a later date.
