COLUMBIA CITY – Patricia A. Horn, 74, of Columbia City, died at 8:20 p.m. July 11, 2012, in her residence.
She was born Jan. 3, 1938, in Warsaw, to Maurice and Helen Hively Fancil. On July 17, 1958, in Warsaw, she married Billy D. Horn, who survives in Columbia City.
She spent her lifetime in Warsaw, Fort Wayne and Columbia City. She graduated from Warsaw High School. She first worked at Magnavox for 10 years, then was an assembler for Dana Corp. for 12 years and worked part time for 15 years for Class Act Cleaners. She was a member of Warsaw Church of God.
Also surviving are five children: Kimberlin (and spouse Robert) Sweet, Billy J.R. Horn and Chrisdeana (and spouse Howard) Welch, all of Columbia City; Sonia (and spouse Christopher) Welch and Deana (and spouse Sean) Roof, all of Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four brothers: James Fancil and Don (and spouse Nancy) Fancil, all of Fort Wayne; Maurice (and spouse Carol) Fancil, Largo, Fla.; a sister, Janice (and spouse Gene) Fisher, Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter and a sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Demoney-Grimes Funeral Home, Columbia City, with Sharon Brockhaus officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
