Passenger Injured In Two-Vehicle Accident MondayOne person was injured after a head-on collision Monday on West Levi Lee Road, east of North Ind. 15, Warsaw.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office accident report, at 5:31 p.m. Monday, Juan P. Sanchez Brito, 25, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, was driving a 2011 red Chevrolet eastbound on Levi Lee Road near the intersection of North Ind. 15. Kelsey J. Dobbs, 23, West Old 30, Warsaw, was driving a 2002 silver Pontiac Grand Prix westbound on Levi Lee Road.
According to Dobbs and a witness, Sanchez Brito crossed the enter line, causing Dobbs to avoid the collision by crossing over the center line. According to the accident report, Dobbs stated Sanchez Brito corrected his vehicle’s path of travel, causing it to collide head-on with Dobb’s vehicle in the eastbound lane.
Lutheran EMS Medic 6 arrived on scene and medically evaluated the occupants of Dobb’s vehicle.
A passenger in Dobb’s vehicle, Brittney K. Bruce, 22, North Sullivan Road, Leesburg, complained of pain to the knee/lower leg/foot.
