Party Shop Gives Money For AWL Calendar Proceeds

Party Shop managers Wednesday presented Darla McCammon, Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County executive director, with a $1,000 check from proceeds raised through the sale of AWL calendars at the business last weekend. The calendar has photos taken by local photographer Al Disbro of Kosciusko County fire departments and rescue dogs from AWL and will be sold this weekend at the Party Shop for $15 each. Proceeds from the calendars go to AWL who wil use the funds for its new shelter that will be built. Pictured front row (L to R) are Norm Snyder, Party Shop owner, Blue, one of the dogs featured in the calendar; Sarah Vlot, Blue’s owner; and McCammon; back row, David Hamrick, Party Shop president, and Cornell Vlot, Party Shop vice president.
