Parents Ask For Help In Finding Missing Boys

Posted
It's been exactly two months since Ryan Weese has seen his two sons.

Last time he saw Bhrett Weese, 6, and Breydan Weese, 4, he planned on gaining full custody of them.

His wife Marissa Weese said a CASA report recommended that Ryan gain full custody of the two children he had with April A. Haywood.Haywood and the two boys haven't been seen since Sept. 3. Ryan last saw his two boys Aug. 22.

The Weeses believe Haywood took the boys after she found out she was going to lose custody.

Amber Alerts weren't sent out for the boys because it didn't meet the criteria.

"It's frustrating," said Ryan. "I know the police are doing what they can but it's just really frustrating to not have any progress."

Bhrett Weese, 6, and his brother, Breydan Weese, 4, were listed on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children last month.

Haywood has an active warrant for her arrest for interference with custody, which carries a $10,000 bond.

Police have a list of possible locations where Haywood could be with the boys but not much progress has been made.

Marissa characterizes Bhrett as a "shy boy, but a big loveable sweetheart" who loves Spiderman, while Brady is more of a free spirit who loves dinosaurs and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The boys have been gone so long that they don't know Marissa is pregnant and they have a sister on the way.

The Weeses are trying to hire a highly-regarded private child recovery agency out of New York but the cost is too high.

The Weeses are asking for help from the community in the form of donations to bring Bhrett and Brady home.

Checks or money orders can be made payable to Child Recovery International 87 Spook Rock Road Suffern NY 10901 and note on memo section 'Weese'

Anyone with information regarding the two children should either call the national hotline at 800-THE-LOST or the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department at 574-267-5667.
