WINONA LAKE – Papa John’s of Warsaw is running a fundraiser for Winona Lake Limitless Park every Monday throughout the 2014-2015 school year beginning Monday. Every patron who mentions the fundraiser while ordering will have 20 percent of their bill total donated to Winona Lake Parks Department. This will help support raising funds for phase II of the park improvement project. Construction on phase I, the splash pad and a portion of the parking expansion, is projected for completion by late this year. Phase II will include a beyond ADA-compliant playground, sensory stations for children with visual, auditory and cognitive challenges, year-round restrooms, additional parking, new sidewalks and landscaping. Winona Lake Limitless Park committee is actively pursuing the remaining capital needed for Phase II and its groundbreaking in 2015. The total cost of both phases is estimated at $2.2 million.
