Pamalene Schaaf, 60, Akron, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.
Pam was born Sept. 24, 1962, in Warsaw, to John F. and Zefie Conley Jackson. She was married on Dec. 25, 2007, to James M. Schaaf, who died Nov. 2, 2010.
The funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17 at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron. The interment will take place in the Gaerte Cemetery, Macy. Visitation hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
Memorials can be made in her memory to the Beaver Dam Church/Wheels on Fire to assist the community members who are fighting cancer.
