Pallet Co. Fire Delays Friday A.M. TrafficIndiana 15 between Prairie Street and where 15 and South Buffalo Street branch apart was closed for about an hour Friday morning after a fire at J & B Pallet Co.

Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory responded to the call at 5:15 a.m. at J & B Pallet Co., 711 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw.

WWFT Public Information Officer Max Kinsey said the fire was reported by a passerby who saw flames.

He said the fire was contained to the kiln area on the north side of the building.

No one was injured.

As of Friday night, no cause to the fire had been determined and it’s still  under investigation, Kinsey said. Investigators will return later in the week to determine a cause.

He did not have an estimated amount of damage  to the building.

All county fire departments assisted in the fire, Kinsey said. The fire was under control in about 45 minutes.

Kinsey did not know for sure if the business was closed Friday, but assumed it would be.

According to the company’s Facebook page, J & B Pallet Co. is a supplier of new, used and reconditioned pallets and standard and custom pallets and crates.
