Google Glenn Beck lies. You will be astonished how much misinformation he spouts out. Another recent wild claim by Glenn Beck on his radio program on Nov. 12, 2009, that the health care bill includes insurance for dogs. Beck has taken a kernel of something in the bill and spun it to an absurd conclusion.
He blubbers on TV Gary! He blubbers on TV! Not real blubbering either.
He lost 50 percent of his advertisers. Let's hold a glass up to the next 50.
If Beck wants to be thoughtful, he could make a very interesting point about how the U.S. is overly corporate.
His show has averaged 2.25 million viewers. "That's So Raven" has over 2 million viewers. Ratings don't equal sense.
With a pit like Glenn Beck, how can you go wrong? This is good entertainment, watching the "foot in mouth disease show."
Soon Rush will say President Obama was born on the planet Zotar in a nearby galaxy. And Sean Hannity will snatch onto this saying he saw the spaceship, thus getting the cult in an uproar, immediately trying to prove he was born beyond Earth's atmosphere with a slogon "Obama's an Alien." And of course, Glenn Beck will go on an insane comedy tour. Which of course will deepen the mystery during this national crisis,
1) why he and the Simpson's frogurt guy will have a fight to the death or
2) Glenn Beck is already a very well-established joke.
A Florida appeals court ruled in 2003 there is absolutely nothing illegal about lying, concealing or distorting information by a major press. Fox News successfully argued in court that it had a constitutional right to report misinformation. That's when I stopped watching Fox News.
