MENTONE - The Palestine Lake Property Owners Association is issuing an open invitation to all Palestine and Caldwell Lake area residents to come to the next meeting Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Burket Firemen's Training Center on Walnut Street. The featured speaker will be Sara Peel, aquatic ecologist from the JF New Company. She is the project manager of the Diagnostic LARE grant received by the association from the DNR and will present updates on the watershed study which took place on a land tour March 27.
