A Tuesday morning arrest at an abandoned building has an area couple facing drug charges.
Warsaw City officers responded to a report of possible trespassing at the abandoned Gatke building at 2321 South McKinley St., Warsaw, on Tuesday at 11:52 a.m. Officers located Jesse Ryan Fugate, 29, 110 E. Swihart Street, Columbia City, and Jessica Irene Fields, 29, 3035, of CR 900E, Pierceton. Officers also located several one-pot method methamphetamine labs inside the abandoned vehicle.
Fugate and Fields were both preliminarily charged with felony manufacturing methamphetamine. Their bonds were set at $10,000 each by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office.
The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force was assisted by offices from the Warsaw and Winona Lake police departments and Kosciusko County Sheriff's Departments.
