The city of Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will hold community paddle boarding and canoeing from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 28 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 2 at Pike Lake, 1009 E. Arthur St., Warsaw.
Join the department either or both days for an adventure on the lake – whether you prefer a paddle board or canoe.
While registration isn't required, each participant, or a parent/guardian for those under 18, must sign an annual waiver and rules acknowledgment. One waiver is needed per participant each year. The waiver can be found by visiting https://warsaw.in.gov/818/Free-Programs.
Anyone under the age of 16 must have an adult accompany them in the water. All necessary equipment, including life vests, will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Equipment usage is limited to designated time slots, and safety briefings will be given to all participants before they get started. Staff will be on hand to supervise all activities for your safety.
