Christopher Schackmann, 20, is helped into the Samaritan helicopter following an 8:27 a.m. accident at the intersection of CR700S and Packerton Road. Schackmann was taken to Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, where he was listed in serious condition with head injuries. Schackmann's car was hit by a car driven by Samantha Prater, 22, of West CR950S, Silver Lake. Prater was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital, where she was treated for neck and face injuries.
