The Warsaw Fire Department hosted Lincoln School Cub Scout Pack 3767 Sept. 22. The Scouts enjoyed the firehouse tour and the specialized tools in the rescue trucks. The firemen showed the Cub Scouts how high the ladder truck can reach and took Tiger Den Leader Aaron Phillips for a 100-foot ride. The lights and sirens were also a hit. Firefighter Brandon Schmitt kept the boys engaged with a tour that combined excitement with fire safety. Cub Scouts is open to any first- through fourth-grader. Pack 3767 meets Tuesday nights at 6:30 in the Lincoln School cafeteria, but other packs meet other nights of the week.
