Edward and Zula Faye Owens celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 7, 2007. Edward Owens and Zula Faye Minnix were married Dec. 7, 1957, in Roanoke.
He is retired from Spartech, and she is retired from Whitley Products and Larwill Products.
The couple have two children: Hazel (and spouse Tony) McKenzie, Claypool; and Anthony (and spouse Kathy) Owens, Warsaw. They have seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
The couple celebrated the anniversary with a family dinner at the couple's home.
