Mitchell and Merla Ousley, Warsaw, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversay Dec. 29, 2012. Mitchell and the former Merla Bryant were married Dec. 29, 1972, at Apostlic Gospel Tabernacle, Warsaw, by the Rev. John Reid. Mitchell has been a diesel machinic for Diesel Power Machine for 36 years. Merla has worked at the Times-Union warehouse as supervisor for 30 years, retiring at year’s end. She has had a paper route for 36 years. The couple have six children: Joshua, Kokomo; Natalie and Daisy (and spouse Jason) Hollon, all of Warsaw; Jenney (and spouse Chris) Dorgan, Big Rapids, Mich.; Mary (and spouse Jerry) Shelby, Gas City; and Min Lee, Seoul, Korea; and seven grandchildren. They will celebrate with a family dinner and a family trip to Florida next summer.
