Editor, Times-Union: The presidential election this year could be the last election we have for president, depending on who is elected. I see too much going on that points toward the period called the Tribulation, which makes me believe the election of Hillary Clinton will be a sure sign of Christ’s soon appearance called the Rapture. Over 300 years ago, English preachers were saying Russia would invade Israel and be totally defeated. This was when Israel didn’t exist and Russia wasn’t a major military power. Today, Putin needs a reason to invade Israel, and will if something happens in the Middle East that provokes Russia to invade. I don’t know if Trump could stop the Russians. I know Hillary won’t be able to. Muslims would love to destroy America. Trump wants to prevent possible Islamic terrorists from coming here, while Hillary will let them come here. If she continues to weaken the military like her husband had before 9/11 and Obama has been doing, we won’t be able to stop the terrorists from doing what they want in the Middle East, and our foolishness will tell them they can go ahead and create chaos here. With her siding with Black Lives Matter against the police, terrorists will take advantage of the chaos to do their worst. Iran will develop nuclear weapons they will try to use against Israel but will fail, which means she would repeat her husband’s mistake when he claimed North Korea wouldn’t develop atomic weasons and it did. We will have an economic collapse, and nothing Hillary will do will stop it. Trump might not be able to prevent it either. But he might do a better job bringing us out of the disaster. Hillary would probably increase taxation and regulations to make the disaster worst. Hillary believes she is above the law and would act like it as president. Congress will at least keep Trump in check since both Republicans and Democrats don’t like him. But if Hillary becomes president and gets a Democrat Congress and Senate, she might seize dictatorial powers. Maybe that’s one of the reasons so many newspapers support her. They don’t want her to shut them down. But if they print anything against her, she’ll have them shut down anyways. She might reinstate the fairness doctrine for radio and TV stations and effectively shut down opposition. The truth against her will be considered hate speech. It will be one nation of Hillary, by Hillary and for Hillary. The only good thing about Hillary being elected would be the Rapture could be around the corner when Christians will be able to leave this insane asylum called earth and go to heaven. With Trump we many have a little more time. But the worst is going to come whoever is elected. Rick Badman Address
