Kosciusko County Scholarship Queen Megan Medlock read letters describing the commitment to family and community of three women featured in the "Our Lady of Kosciusko" program in the fairground's activity tent Thursday.
The annual Kosciusko County 4-H and Community Fair event evolved last year from selecting one woman as "senior queen" to recognizing all entrants. All letters are read and each woman, 65-years-old or older, receives a tiara and bouquet of flowers.
Martha Hoffman's daughter Kathy Hamman and Mary Justice's daughter, Sharon Justice wrote about their mothers. Deanna Myers' cousin, Marsha Miller, sent a letter describing the good works of her cousin, Deanna Myers.
