Oscar 'Pee Wee' Russell

MILFORD – Oscar “Pee Wee” Russell, 70, Milford, passed away Dec. 25, 2015, in Fort Wayne, from a heart attack.
He was born March 27, 1945, in South Bend, to Oscar M. and Thelma Crawford Russell. On Dec. 30, 1995, he married Martha ”Myrt” Elliott Fisher, who survives. They were married 20 years.
He worked many years as a painter for Smoker Craft before his retirement in 2008. He and his wife were the owners and operators of the concession stand at New Paris Speedway for several years. After his retirement, he started working part time at South Shore Golf Course, Syracuse. He attended the Wawasee Community Bible Church, enjoyed auto racing and watching sports.
Also surviving are a daughter, Karen (and spouse Rick) Simbeck, Elkhart; three stepsons: Craig (and spouse Jen) Fisher, Milford; Steven (and spouse Lora) Fisher, Warsaw; Ronald (and spouse Mary) Fisher, Milford; a brother, Greg (and spouse Jeanette) Russell, Wyatt; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the Wawasee Community Bible Church, Milford, with Pastor Josh Weiland officiating.
Calling is from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the church.
