'Ordinary Days' Has Its Debut This Weekend

Posted
NORTH MANCHESTER – Getting ready to open on the Performing Arts Center stage at Manchester Junior-Senior High School this weekend, “Ordinary Days” by Adam Gwon is about four people all in different places in their lives and all feeling very different things about who they are.
This is a modern musical showing how lives are woven together, and how people can so easily affect one another. A funny sweet show, not to be missed, according to a press release received.
Marilyn Sexton Mason, director of “Ordinary Days,” has compiled a cast of people that “brilliantly depict these characters,” the release states.
Clayton Marcum, a senior at Manchester, plays Warren, a struggling artist in New York. Maya Hippensteel, a recent graduate of I.U. and an alumnus of Manchester, plays Deb, a graduate student in New York. Jennifer Reichenbach, a North Manchester resident and Yearbook advisor at Manchester University, plays Claire, a New Yorker navigating through past and present relationships. Eric Reichenbach, North Manchester resident and local physician, plays Jason, a man in love trying to move his relationship toward the future in the city that never sleeps.
The show runs Friday at 7 p.m.; Saturday at 3 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for students and senior citizens, $8 for adults. Tickets may be purchased at the door, but seats are limited for this show. Call 260-982-2196, Ext. 331, to reserve seats ahead of time.
“Ordinary Days” is recommended for ages 13 and older.
