Orange Door Takes on Pacesetter Role

Posted
While fairly new to the community, Orange Door Dental has been diligent in becoming part of the area through service and volunteerism.

The dental practice, headed by Dr. Chris Willig, has done food drives, participated in Give Kids A Smile, worked with Combined Community Services as well as Heartline Pregnancy.

Now, Willig says, his group is excited to work with a monster organization like United Way.

Orange Door Dental is one of several companies working as Pacesetters for United Way’s  annual fundraising campaign.

Orange Door opened in Elkhart County about 5.5 years ago. Then a Warsaw branch was opened in August 2011.

“I like to communicate to our staff, ‘Yes we all have bills.’ But we all have jobs and we have the ability to affect change,” Willig said.

He said one major plus of working with United Way is that while it’s a worldwide organization, those giving can choose where their money goes.

Friday, Orange Door Dental  Group held a luncheon for employees to go over what the United Way campaign is and ways they can raise money.

Orange Door Dental has 16 employees.

And the company is looking for 100 percent participation.

And if that happens, employees can enjoy Willig shaving his head.

Leanne Reigner is serving as a key leader for Orange Door.

She’s asking businesses for door prizes to help pump up the practice’s efforts.

Orange Door Dental is located at 1299 Husky Trail, Warsaw.
