The local Breakfast Optimist Club is in the newspaper weekly handing out checks to local groups to help the youth in the community. This time of year individuals, business leaders and groups have the opportunity to give to them.
Pictured (L to R) are Scott Wiley and Tim Nussbaum from the Bowen Center presenting co-chair Art Gakstatter a $500 sponsorship check for The Breakfast Optimist Club annual City of Lakes Cruise In.
The Cruise In will be held downtown this year May 20. Anyone wanting to sponsor the event to help out local youth can call Gakstatter at 574-265-1010.
