Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club recently donated $300 to the Boomerang Backpack program. Boomerang Backpack is a program developed by students at Warsaw Community High School where food is supplied to underprivileged children over the weekend through the school system in a backpack that is returned on Monday to be refilled. Pictured (L to R) are: Tracey Akers; Blair Findlay; Lyle Enyeart, Optimist Club representative; Tracy Furnivall, Optimist Club president; and Will Petro. Through various fundraising activities during the year, the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club raises more than $20,000 to donate to youth-oriented activities. Join the club as its guest on a Wednesday at 7 a.m. for a breakfast meeting. For more information about the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club, visit www.warsawoptimist.org
