Still need a Christmas tree?
Look no further than the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club's Annual Christmas Tree Sale.
The sale began the day after Thanksgiving and will continue until all the trees are gone, according to Angie Tom. The location for the sale is between Owens and Save-Mor, East Center Street, Warsaw, daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Anyone who asks can get $5 off the price of a tree. Or take a copy of this story to the sale and get the $5 off.
All the proceeds of the sale stay in the community to help local youth, Tom said.
She said they started with 700 trees and already have sold half of them.
"There's still a lot of beautiful trees out there," she said.
This year, if someone knows of a family who can't afford a tree, a person can purchase a gift certificate for that family and then that family can use the certificate to pick out their own tree. For more information on those certificates, call Dr. Charles Hollar at 267-8466.
