Two renowned opera singers will perform a free concert Saturday night.
Don Bernardini and his wife Denise Ritter-Bernardini are set to perform at Church Of The Good Shepherd, formerly Winona Lake Presbyterian Church, at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The church is at 100 8th St., Winona Lake.
Don is an internationally-acclaimed American tenor who has performed all over the world.
His May 2003 performance as Gennaro in Donizetti's "Lucrezia Borgia" was performed and recorded at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London with Nelli Miricioui in the title role.
His wife, Denise is a soprano who has received awards from the American Tradition Competition, Benton-Schmidt Contest, Metropolitan Opera, National Association of Teachers of Singing and the National Federation of Music Clubs.
Don is the director of the vocal department for the Grace College School of Music.
"It's amazing to have such renowned singers here in Warsaw," said Patrick Kavanaugh Tuesday to the Times-Union.
