SYRACUSE - Opal Juanita Keim, 90, of Syracuse, died at 12:22 a.m. March 20, 2007, in Goshen General Hospital.

She was born Feb. 24, 1917, in Elletsville, to William and Kathryn Hall Gouldy. On Aug. 6, 1938, she married Olen Keim, who died in 1974.

A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker and formerly worked at Burkholder Drugs and Pilcher Shoes, both of Syracuse. She attended St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Syracuse.

Surviving are three sons: Steve, Grayling, Mich.; Richard, Knoxville, Tenn.; and Don L., Elkhart; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jack Gouldy, Bloomington.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, with Pastor Mark Eastway officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.

Calling is two hours prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
