ROCHESTER - Opal B. Weidner, 89, formerly of 1516 Wallace Ave., Rochester, died at 2:40 p.m. March 30, 2010, in Hickory Creek, Rochester. She was in failing health for the past several months.

She was born Dec. 16, 1920, in Fairmont, to James and Nola F. Woods Armentrout. On May 22, 1939, in Indianapolis, she married Harley O. Weidner, who died Sept. 18, 1987.

Living most of her life in the Rochester area, she attended Liberty Baptist Church, Rochester.

Surviving are two daughters, Martha (and spouse Terry) Dain, Rochester, and Mary Perez, Phoenix, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth Armentrout, The Colony, Texas. She was preceded in death by two sons, two grandsons, four sisters and a brother.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in Reichter Cemetery, northeast of Rochester.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
