One InjuredA three-vehicle collision sent one woman to the hospital around 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Hayley Cooper, 30, Warsaw, was driving a 2011 Dodge Durango north on Ind. 15, south of CR 800S, when she slowed for a 2011 Chevrolet Express van that was parked on the east side of the roadway doing telecommunications work. The employee of the van was not in the vehicle at the time, according to police reports. A 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, driven by Robert Combs, 51, Silver Lake, struck the rear of Cooper’s vehicle, causing the pickup to leave the roadway and strike the van. Cooper was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for complaint of pain. Assisting the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office at the scene were Lutheran EMS, Claypool Fire Department, Silver Lake Police Department Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Silver Lake Fire Department and Parkview EMS.
