One man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident early this morning on Bell Drive, Warsaw.
William C. Norris II, 20, of Maye Street, Warsaw, was westbound on Bell Drive when he lost control of the motorcycle he was operating. He traveled more than 100 feet and struck a parked pickup truck in the Biomet parking lot.
Norris was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital and later transferred to Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was listed in serious, but stable, condition late this morning.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department is investigating. Excessive speed is believed to be a contributing factor.
The parked vehicle was registered to Brian Johnson, Gable Drive, Warsaw. Damage to each vehicle is estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
