A Warsaw woman was transported to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital after a three-vehicle accident Monday at the intersection of North Lake and West Fort Wayne streets, Warsaw.

According to the Warsaw Police Department accident report, at approximately 3:24 p.m. Monday, Diego A. Xiqui, 17, North Old Ind. 15, Warsaw, was driving westbound on West Fort Wayne Street approaching North Lake Street in a 2011 Honda Pilot. He said he eased out into the northbound traffic of North Lake street. He pulled his vehicle too far into the path of traffic and pulled into the path of Linda K. Bradley, 62, South Pointer Lane, Warsaw, who was driving a 2020 Nissan Rouge.

Bradley was northbound on North Lake Street approaching West Fort Wayne Street. She said as she got closer to the intersection, Xiqui’s vehicle pulled into the path of her vehicle. Bradley’s vehicle was hit by Xiqui’s vehicle, causing Bradley’s vehicle to roll over and land upside down next to a 2014 Buick Encore registered to Julie A. Korphilati, South East Ridge Place, Warsaw, which was parked and unoccupied in the American Legion parking lot.

One witness said he was eastbound on West Fort Wayne Street and stopped at the stop sign. He then observed Xiqui’s vehicle pull out into the path of Bradley’s vehicle. Bradley’s vehicle then rolled over and hit Korphilati’s vehicle.

A second witness said he was southbound on North Lake Street in the left turn lane to turn eastbound on West Fort Wayne Stret. He said Xiqui’s vehicle pulled out onto North Lake Street into the path of Bradley’s vehicle. He said Xiqui’s vehicle hit Bradley’s, causing it to roll over.

Bradley was taken to the hospital for complaint of pain to the entire body.

Estimated damage was $25,000 to $50,000.
