A Warsaw woman is in jail and police are looking for a male suspect after finding a one-pot methamphetamine lab.
According to the Warsaw Police Department, around 11:03 p.m. Officer Paul Heaton discovered two people outside a car in the parking lot of Warsaw Coil, 1809 W. Winona Ave., Warsaw, which was closed.When Heaton stopped to see if the people needed help, the man ran behind the business. Heaton then reportedly saw a one-pot methamphetamine lab on the dash of the vehicle and several other precursors to manufacturing methamphetamine on the car's floor.
The woman, later identified as Mylynn Sherwood, 22, of 112 Rattington Circle, Warsaw, was taken into custody and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of legends or precursors to manufacturing methamphetamine. Her bond was set at $10,000.
Police K-9s tracked the man, but he was not found. However, he has been identified and a warrant is being sought for his arrest.
While tracking the man, officers found several more precursors to making meth.
The Indiana State Police lab team was called to the scene to process the scene and dismantle the lab.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department and Indiana State Police assisted the Warsaw Police Department at the scene.
