Ona Catherine Rush, 61, died at 2:53 p.m. Jan. 4, 2009, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born June 9, 1947, in Atwood, to Milton Zeke and Wilma Jean Hendrick Irwin.
She was a factory worker at Da-Lite Screen Co. Inc. for the past six years. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Once her friend, always her friend. She always looked for the positive in everyone and everything. She enjoyed football and NASCAR. Living most of her life in Kosciusko County, she lived in Eaton, Ohio, for 10 years, where she worked at the Henny Penny.
Surviving are a daughter, Tracy (and spouse Mike) Wilson, Leesburg; a son, Scott (and spouse Shelley) Boggs, Claypool; six grandchildren: Robbie, Gage, Peyton, Christopher, Ashley and Nick; three great-grandchildren: Conner, Ireland and Cayman; three sisters: Mindy (and spouse Art) Carroll, Lake City, Fla.; Rita (and spouse John) Mohr, South Whitley; and Susie (and spouse Jerry) Monroe, Leesburg; and her fiance, Jim Boggs, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her father, Milton Zeke Irwin, who died Sept. 10, 2007, and her mother, Wilma Jean Irwin, who died Oct. 28, 1964.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Jerry Thomas of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood, officiating. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery, Atwood.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
