Lee Cottage moves down the Ninth Street Hill in Winona Lake Thursday, leaving Sunday Lane for its new site, 1001 E. Canal St. in Winona Village. The house, built in 1902, will be known as Trail House at its new location, a bicycle shop operated by Rob and Nancy Gast. The Trail House also will have land and lake sports equipment - bicycles, kayak and cross-country skis - available for sale and rentals. It will be located along the greenway trail, which is scheduled for construction this year. This is the third house moved into the village by Lykowski Construction, South Bend. The other two relocated buildings are at 807 and 901 E. Canal St. The Gasts expect to open Trail House in May, according to Brent Wilcoxson of Winona Restoration. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
