Editor, Times-Union: Regarding the letter titled “Solutions” written by Mike Wood I would just like to say – right on, Mr. Wood! Your letter was so on the mark! My husband and I feel exactly the same way. Thank you for voicing it so well. The part about TV, Hollywood and video games needing to clean up their acts is where we need to start to put an end to this violence. I believe Mr. Gerard stated in one of his columns that these things have “de-sensitized” our young people. I sent copies of that article to all my representatives and senators – for all the good it has done so far. Thank you, Mr. Wood, for a great letter. And if I may quote you – “Folks, we are in trouble and need to change the course of this great nation.” Let’s all pray for that! Marsha Davis Silver Lake
