NORTH WEBSTER – Olivia S. Ramirez, 67, North Webster, passed away at 8:21 a.m. Sept. 17, 2015, at her home.
She was born Sept. 15, 1948, in Brownfield, Texas, to Jesus and Julia Garza Salazar. In April 1967 in Altus, Okla., she married Refugio M. “Cuco” Ramirez, who survives.
She grew up Texas and attended public schools in Brownfield. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Rinker Boats, Syracuse, and Barth Manufacturing, Milford. She moved to North Webster 30 years ago from Milford.
She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in North Webster and was an avid bingo player.
Also surviving are two daughters, Norma (and spouse Don) Caudill, North Webster, and Nancy (and spouse Harold) Fretz, New Paris; a son, Refugio “Fugi” (and spouse Tammy) Ramirez, Leesburg; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth (and spouse Ken) Harrington, Nappanee, and  Martha (and spouse Bobby) Fretz, Goshen; and three brothers: Joe (and spouse Rosa) Salazar, Syracuse; Jack Salazar, Milford; and Jimmy Salazar, Bristol. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gloria A. Salazar and Lenora Mediano; and two brothers, Jess Salazar and and an infant brother.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Church of the Brethren, 7281 E. CR 600N, North Webster, with Pastor Robert Wyman of the church officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church.
Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
