Sue Ann Mitchell, the first county auditor of the new millennium, was sworn in Thursday by the Honorable Rex L. Reed, judge, Kosciusko Circuit Court. Mitchell is also the last county official sworn in before 2000. Pictured are Mitchell (L) and the last county auditor of the 20th century, Charlene Knispel (R). Mitchell was elected to the auditor's office in 1998. She is married to Tippecanoe Township Trustee Richard D. Mitchell and has two children and three grandchildren.
